Mission Statement (March 31, 2003)
To provide support for and give a united voice to the interests and concerns of the residents of the single-family, owner-occupied homes located in that region of the City of Kalamazoo known as the Arcadia Neighborhood. (See the April, 2003 edition of the Arcadia Reminder newsletter for a more detailed listing of ANA goals.)

Description
Arcadia Neighborhood includes about 400 single-family homes on the west side of Kalamazoo. Residents enjoy a neighborhood K-6 elementary school, convenient access to many city venues, an adjoining youth soccer complex, tree-lined streets, and (so far) undeveloped natural habitat to our north for walking, running, skiing, and sledding.

Program
The ANA Board of Directors ordinarily meets in board member homes on the last Sunday of each month and publishes/delivers newsletters on a bimonthly to quarterly basis to all neighborhood homes.

We also coordinate the following annual activities:

August: Neighborhood Night Out and Ice Cream Social at Arcadia Elementary School
September: Annual Meeting and Election of Officers at Arcadia Elementary School

Neighborhood Garage Sale
