Mission Statement
The Arcadia Neighborhood Watch has been established as a means of monitoring
and reporting both criminal activity and quality of life issues to the
appropriate authorities in order to maintain a safe and enjoyable neighborhood
for all residents.

Uphold the City of Kalamazoo’s Zone 8 Occupancy Limits (single family/no more than two
unrelated people) status of the Arcadia Neighborhood.

Maintaining a neighborhood that is safe for children and adults to walk,
run, ride and play in by monitoring speeds and keeping sidewalks and
streets clear and easily accessible.

Act as a liaison between Arcadia Neighborhood residents, Arcadia Neighborhood
Association Board, Arcadia CPO, and the city to keep all informed of activity
and issues in Arcadia Neighborhood.

Create a system of monitoring, reporting, and following up on suspicious
activity and violations in the Arcadia Neighborhood and provide an on-line
Hot Spot Form
for reporting.

Create a unified neighborhood that encourages and supports each other in order
to maintain the neighborhood.

Educate Arcadia Neighborhood residents on ways to prevent and report crime
as well as report quality of life issues.

Neighborhood Watch Meetings
The Arcadia Neighborhood Association has established a neighborhood watch meeting schedule
in order to to maintain a safe and enjoyable neighborhood for all residents. Check the
